Each role has its own process designed to look for unique skills and experiences. Not all of these may apply for your role, but here are some of the ways we assess candidates in the hiring process:
Before diving into more in-depth interviews, you’ll typically have one or two shorter conversations. These will be with a recruiter or a member of the hiring team.
You may be asked to do a brief online assessment.
We sometimes ask candidates to share a portfolio or past work.
This shows us how you think and approach problems. And gives you a chance to show your creativity. Details will be provided well in advance (and rest assured, there won’t be any brain teasers).
We want to learn more about your aspirations, values, skills, and experiences and give you a chance to showcase the value and impact you’ll have at BetMGM. You’ll meet with potential teammates, managers, and other people you may work with and talk through a series of situational and behavioral questions to see if you and the role are a match. The number of interviews will vary, depending on whether you meet with one person at a time or with several team members jointly. We take the process seriously, but it’s meant to be warm, friendly, and give you the opportunity to get to know us better too.
After each step, you’ll hear from your recruiter to review how things went and discuss any next steps.
We bring everything together and take into account a number of perspectives to make a decision. We appreciate your patience during this stage – we know it isn’t easy to wait!
If you’re selected, your recruiter will reach out to you to extend an offer and discuss employment terms. Once you’ve accepted the offer, a formal offer letter will be drafted for your signature. At that time, your recruiter will also walk you through our pre-employment screening and onboarding processes, and make sure you are set-up for success from day one.
