Matt is responsible for driving revenue across all channels of business by acquiring and retaining customers and providing superior customer experiences. He brings a unique combination of brand leadership experience and expertise in Europe’s most competitive betting environment with a deep understanding of the U.S. consumer and media landscape.

Prior to joining BetMGM, Matt served as the CMO of Coral Interactive in Gibraltar. As part of their initial management team, he developed the marketing framework that drove Coral.co.uk’s success over seven years. He served as an operating executive at Cerberus Capital Management and was appointed the chief digital officer of NewAvon in 2017 where he also served on the board of directors. Prior to Cerberus, Matt was a consultant at McKinsey.

As CHRO, Karen is responsible for the success of BetMGM through the success of its people. Known for her high energy level, emotional intelligence, and ability to lead among ambiguity, she brings extensive HR business partner and HR operations experience in both high-growth and transforming businesses. Prior to joining BetMGM, Karen led the HR function at Paramount Group, where she drove business strategy as part of the executive committee.

She is an expert in strategy and execution, change management, leadership coaching, organization design, and process simplification and standardization. She holds a B.S. in biology from James Madison University.

Gary joins BetMGM from New York-based marketing services company LiveIntent, where he served as CFO and EVP Corporate Development. He brings a depth of experience from his time at large companies like Disney and Lucent Technologies, a track record of successful acquisitions, and a strong understanding of early-stage venture capital and private equity-backed startups.

Gary was drawn to BetMGM because of the chance to work at the intersection of sports and gaming, and to be a part of building an entirely new industry from the ground up. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

As VP of Strategy & Development, Witek monitors market trends and advises the CEO and fellow Executive Committee members on strategic developments that impact our ability to fully serve our players and partners. He is responsible for business and corporate development, including securing market access and strategic partnerships.

Josh Jessen serves as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of BetMGM, where he oversees the Legal and Compliance Departments. Prior to joining BetMGM, Josh was a litigation partner in the international law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. At Gibson Dunn, where he practiced law for over 19 years, Josh’s practice focused on consumer law and class actions, intellectual property litigation, and complex commercial litigation. Josh earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

Rhea Loney serves as Chief Compliance Officer of BetMGM, where she oversees compliance in the areas of licensing, regulatory affairs, anti-money laundering, technical compliance, and responsible gaming. Prior to joining BetMGM, Rhea served as Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs for Penn Interactive, where she built a first-class compliance, regulatory affairs, and fraud team. Rhea was an Assistant Attorney General at the Louisiana Division of Gaming for almost a decade prior her roles in online gaming and sports wagering, focusing on regulatory and administrative law. Rhea holds a J.D. from Tulane Law School.

Jarrod Schwarz is BetMGM’s Chief Product Officer, where he leads a talented team in creating leading websites and applications. Jarrod has held leadership positions at world-class brands across e-commerce, sports, and entertainment. Prior to joining BetMGM, he spent over 7 years at Disney, overseeing product and design for ESPN and Walt Disney Television’s digital portfolios, including the successful launch of ESPN+, their first direct-to-consumer streaming service. Jarrod also has a background in product leadership roles at top e-commerce companies, having spent 6 years at eBay and serving as Vice President of Product for Bloomspot, a startup acquired by JP Morgan Chase.

Kevin Allan is Chief Architect at BetMGM. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, having held various leadership positions at companies such as bwin.party entertainment, Scottish Power, and BSkyB. Kevin has a wealth of experience in managing global infrastructure and teams and is responsible for BetMGM’s technical strategy and roadmap.
